In deciding which charities and organizations would be best to support, it became apparent that there was simply no way to limit the choices to just one or two as there are multiple organizations worthy of being supported. Instead the choice was to consider which areas of children’s charities would become our focus.
Healthcare – there are so many wonderful organizations serving our communities in everything from medical research, financial relief for families having to provide both short and long-term care, medical services including general pediatric care to specialized services.
Arts – with the recent trend of arts and other extra curricular programs being reduced and in some cases, eliminated from local schools, there has been an increase in the number of various charities that are geared in providing studies, programs, camps, etc in various arts.
Sports – summer outdoor camps, specific sport camps, providing sports equipment and providing scholarships for kids to take sports mission trips are just a few of the ways where sports can help enrich the lives of children.
Education – From learning centers in low-income areas to after school programs and schools specifically designed to help teach children with special needs; it’s impossible to identify all of the wonderful charities and organizations that are working tirelessly within our communities to provide quality education to our children.
